Wed Msg: Counseling on Issues in Life with the Lord

February 23, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 22nd 2012 Wednesday Message Summary

Scriptures: Matthew 4:17-19, Matthew 6:31-33, Matthew 7:13-14, Matthew 10:16-17, Matthew 15:28, Matthew 22:36-40, Matthew 24:13, Matthew 25:13, Luke 8:50, John 16:33

When you are taking a test, if you cannot figure out an answer, you get a headache and you feel heavy in your heart. In this way, when human beings run into problems in the course of their lives, they seek answers. The problem gets resolved only when you find the answer. If you cannot find the answer, your head hurts, you feel burdened by worries, concerns, and anxieties, and your heart becomes sick. Today, too, together with the Lord, I will give a message that provides the answers to those who have physical or spiritual problems in life.

God has made the history of religion for six thousand years together with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and whenever the believers had problems and became worried and concerned, He gave words that resolved their problems in life. He said, “Why do you worry? Follow Me. Honor Me. Rely on Me. Love Me. Believe in Me with all your heart and follow Me.” Or, He said, “Pray earnestly. Leave your worries to Me. It will work if you cast away your own thoughts.” Or, He said, “Listen to the Word. Throw away the old things and follow the new history. Love one another. Endure until the end and follow until the end.” These are the answers to everyone’s issues in life.
All problems were created as people ran into them while living in this world, but all answers were given by God and the Lord who made people follow by Their Word and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Through living by Their Word, people were ultimately able to avoid death, judgment, have their physical problems resolved, and have their spiritual problems resolved.
Noah had a problem. When he was making the ark according to God’s words, he faced a problem, in which people opposed him, cursed him saying that he was crazy, and did not trust him. However, he made the ark obeying only God’s words until the end, and he ultimately escaped God’s judgment and received salvation.
Abraham also had various problems. But he only believed in and loved God absolutely and obeyed His words. As a result, he lived an ideal life in the land of Canaan, and both his body and spirit prospered.

Moses had a problem also. It was that the people of his nation had been enslaved in Egypt for four hundred years, going through all kinds of sufferings. But by relying on and following God only, he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Through that, the problem was resolved.

Whenever Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David, Solomon, and God’s prophets and kings had problems and reported them to God, God told them, “Follow only Me, Jehovah. Rely on Me.” This was the answer to the problem.
When Jesus came to the world two thousand years ago, also, people asked Him questions about issues of people being sick and diseased, issues about properties, different issues in life, and the various issues in daily life, and in response Jesus gave them the Word. And He told them, “Follow Me. Believe in Me. Do not doubt but do as I say. If you act upon My Word, it will be alright.”

In this way, Jesus always gave a spiritual answer to physical problems. His answer seemed to be vague, but when people took action according to His Word, their physical problems were resolved in their lifetime and the issue of their eternal salvation was resolved as well. In this way, those who abandoned everything they had and followed the Lord when He told them to do so are ‘A-level people.’

Some people, when the Lord spoke to them, continued to farm, run their business, and do their work, but they centered on the Lord and lived their lives believing in and loving the Lord. While farming, running a business, and doing their own work, they lived for the Lord according to His Will. This is also obeying and following the Lord.

The Lord tells all of you: “The things I have said until now are the answers to your issues in life as well.”

All of you who have come to Providence have found the path of life, and while following the Lord, you received the history of the Physical Rapture on earth, the history of the greatest hope on earth, which has been awaited for two thousand years. You have come to live receiving the Lord as the Bridegroom. In addition, with the time of the Spiritual Rapture ahead of you, you have become people who are preparing to receive the Lord who will return when the archangel blows the trumpet.

People who have met the one whom God and Jesus sent in their time period and are following him are people who have resolved the biggest issue in life. This is the solution for the eternal problem. This is how your eternal problem is resolved: through the testimony of the one whom God and the Lord sent for that time period, you come to know correctly about the Almighty God and the Savior Jesus and you come to live, properly receiving the history of the Physical Rapture and the history of the Spiritual Rapture that God and the Lord carry out in your time period.

The rest of the issues in life are trivial problems. Those small issues will all be resolved if you take action within the Lord. Those remaining issues in life are nothing more than a situation where you have gone home but realize you left your wallet at your friend’s place. They are truly insignificant problems, like going into the bathroom and doing your business but finding that there is no toilet paper.

The biggest issue in life is the issue of the spiritual issue, which is an eternal issue. If the spiritual issue is not resolved, then even if the body lives, you are only living a vain life. If only the spiritual issue is resolved, the rest of the issues in life are only small problems like simply pruning the branches. So I hope that you will not make those small, trivial things into issues.

Sun Msg: Counseling on Individual Issues of Life & the Lord’s Answers

February 19, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 19th 2012 Sunday Message Summary & Audio

Scriptures: Matthew 4:19, John 4:25-26

The Lord said that today He will give us answers to our “life’s issues.” All of you who are listening to this Word have your respective issues in life. When the Lord speaks, you will receive answers about them.

I will help you understand today’s message by briefly telling you, as the preparatory portion of the message, the situations of three people among the numerous people who prospered eternally, compared to when they had lived in the world, because they took action exactly according to the answers the Lord gave them when they counseled Him about their issues in life.

The first person is ‘Peter.’ Peter had thrown his nets into the sea all night long but he couldn’t catch even one fish. So he asked Jesus, “Do I have to live my entire life like this? How can I catch a lot of fish in the sea?” This was Peter’s issue in life.

The Lord gave Peter the first answer to his issue in life so that Peter’s efforts would be more successful. He told Peter, “The fish have gone to the deep part of the sea because they were afraid of you. So go to the deep waters and cast your net.” When he loaded two boats with fish, the boats began to sink. Peter was so shocked. His problem was solved.

And at that time, Peter asked Jesus about the issue regarding his future. “Do I have to live catching fish like this?” In response, Jesus said, “Starting today, throw away your boat and nets and follow Me. Just as you catch fish in the sea, go out to the ocean of the world, preach the Word, and lead many lives to Me.” Peter said, “Amen. Hallelujah!” And He continuously went out to the ocean of the world, testified about Jesus, lectured about life, and led people to the Lord just like catching fish.

The second person is the ‘Samaritan woman.’ This woman was someone who had done all kinds of things in the world, everything that could be done, but her heart and soul were in agony. She had relationships with many men and had loved them, too, but she was a miserable woman who lived without satisfaction in love. In regards to the various issues in the woman’s life, Jesus gave an answer in one phrase. He said, “Follow Me. Even if you love many more men, you will feel even more miserable. Love Me.” The answers to all of her problems were contained in that phrase the Lord spoke. The issue of meeting a guide in life, the issue of love, and the issue of a difficult life were all resolved through His one phrase.

Thirdly, I will talk about one more person from the countryside whose name is not in the Bible, and then the Lord will give an answer for everyone. There was a country boy who lived in a remote mountain valley in South Korea. This boy lived in a very small village.

Jesus said, “You who are weary and burdened. Learn from Me. If you learn from Me, it will be easy and your burden will be light.” According to the Lord’s words, the boy lived learning about ‘life’ and ‘the Bible’ from the Lord. When he did so, he was hungry because he had nothing to eat and he was cold because he had nowhere to sleep. So he counseled with Jesus again in his twenties. He said, “Jesus, I want to find a job, but since I don’t have a diploma, every time I have an interview, I don’t pass it. So I can’t even apply for jobs. What should I do to get a job?”

Then one day, the Lord took some of His time and came to that young man. And He said to him, “I will find you a job, so follow Me.” The young man followed Jesus. However, the young man began to think. He thought about living his entire life as an employee, and he knew that ultimately he would not be satisfied. The Lord told him that He would find him a job and took him to many places, to different types of work. But the young man ultimately refused them all.

He said out of his own volition, “Jesus, I will follow You around.” Jesus said, “There is nothing you can help Me with while following Me around… I won’t even be able to give you a salary…” At this, the young man said, “I will just follow you. I will beg people for food, so please just give me permission to do so. I won’t have a lingering desire for a job, money, or a good environment, and I won’t regret it either. So please just give me permission.” Since the young man said this out of his own willingness, Jesus permitted it after checking a few things.
That young man is I, the Teacher. This is how my counseling with the Lord about the future path of my life ended. From then on, as I was doing the Lord’s work, I continuously asked the Lord what I needed to ask hundreds of thousands of times, I received answers, and I took action upon them. I asked the Lord everything about myself, about Providence, and about the people who followed me. The Lord gave answers to all those questions.

The Lord is the Messiah. Therefore, He gives answers that save people’s lives and spirits. If those answers didn’t save, they would not be answers from the Messiah. Those who have jobs, those who work in society, and those who are new to Providence may see a big gap between the Lord’s words and their lives and they may find it difficult to keep His words. However, if the Lord and the one sent by Him talk about how to prosper in the world and give answers to life’s problems in the way that mentors of this world do, how could their answers be the answers from the Messiah Jesus and answers from the one sent by the Lord?

Wed Msg: Prayer, the Word, and Thanksgiving.

February 16, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 15th 2012 Wednesday Message Summary

Scriptures: John 1:1, 14, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Prayer is conversation. Prayer is a sincere conversation with the Almighty God, the Holy Spirit,
and Jesus. Whenever you carry out a certain task, the most important thing is to ‘pray and
discuss.’ There are many things that people failed to receive, even though they were supposed to
receive them, because they didn’t pray and didn’t discuss.

I will tell you how you should pray so that God and the Lord will answer you.

First, you need to pray at the hour that the Lord wants. Then the Lord grants your prayer much
more willingly. The Lord wants you to pray at predawn, but if you pray in the early evening
saying that that’s the only time you have, it will be harder to receive an answer because your
thoughts are not the same as the Lord’s and you are going astray from the ‘law of prayer time.’

Second, when you pray, you have to first meet ‘the conditions’ and set ‘the circumstances.’ The
conditions and circumstances that you need to be equipped with when praying are: First, the
condition of absolute faith, and Second, asking with an earnest heart while praying deeply.

Third, the Lord grants your prayer more readily if you pray for the sake of doing His work. He
gives you things more gladly when you ask Him, saying, “If you do this for me, I will use it in
this way for you, Lord.”

Fourth, the Lord grants your prayer well when you ask Him for things while acknowledging the
things that He has done.

Fifth, He grants your prayer well if you pray having equipped yourself with the things that the
Lord wants.

Sixth, if you pray about those who obstruct God’s Will, God and the Lord will grant the prayer
readily since They also want to judge evil. But God and the Lord carry it out only when the time
comes. Therefore, you have to ask according to God’s Will until the time comes.

Just as we become close to or distant from each other through speaking, we become distant from
or close to the Lord through praying. Even for the things that the Lord will do for us, He does
them for us only when we pray. You can gain what you don’t have also if you pray. If you don’t
pray even though the time has come, you cannot gain things. You have to think that if you don’t
speak, people cannot give you things because they don’t know. You need to think that it’s the
same with the Lord.

‘The Word’ is like the engine room at the front of a train. Just as the engine pulls the train
forward, the Word of the time period pulls the generation forward. Those who listen to and
follow the Word of the time period that the Lord delivers through the man-of-mission of this
time are like the individual passenger cars of a train. If the passenger cars are not connected to
the engine, they can no longer move forward.

Next, let me speak about ‘thanksgiving.’ When people hear, ‘Give thanks to God and Jesus,’
they always think of money, materials, or gifts only. But that is not what it means. First, we
should give our ‘heart’ and next, our ‘body and spirit.’ Even when God received sacrifices, He
valued the offering of people’s hearts, bodies, and spirits the most. Do not say, “thank you,” a
couple of times just to be polite when your heart is not in it. Instead, make it a part of your daily
life to give thanks with a grateful heart.

Now is a time when the highest level of Word is being proclaimed since the creation of the
Earth and since the history of salvation began on earth. After six thousand years of the history
of salvation, the Lord has given the Word to those whom He will make His lovers. Because the
person who was elected as the representative of the entire world set the condition before Heaven,
on earth, the Lord has given the highest level of Word. On this foundation, God and Jesus began
the history of love in this world.

The Lord gave the Word of brides of the time period to the one who set the condition of the
bride before the Lord. And it was only when people have heard that Word and put it into action
that the Lord has allowed them to become His brides. With the Word of the Law of the Old
Testament, a person cannot escape the position of a servant, no matter how much they hear
that Word. With the Word of the New Testament, a person can only transform and resurrect
into a child, no matter how much they hear it. Only when you hear the Word of the Complete
Testament, that is, the Word of the Advent, that is, the Word of brides that enables you to live as
a bride, can you become the Lord’s bride.

A while ago, I asked the Lord while praying, “Lord, should we buy and plant good pine trees in
the Wolmyeongdong Natural Temple?” At that, the Lord said, “Now is not a time to talk about
trees. Nothing else catches my eyes and nothing else catches my ears.” I hope that you will
realize why the Lord is like this. It is because the time when the airplane will take off has almost
come, He is in the position of a person running hurriedly to catch the flight who cannot hear even
what his sweetheart says. ‘The rapture of the spirit’ is what will soon happen, so it is the hottest
topic of the present time.

Sun Msg Audio: Prayer, the Word, and Thanksgiving

February 12, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 12th 2012 Sunday Message Summary & Audio

Scriptures: Isaiah 40: 28-31, Matthew 17: 20, Matthew 18: 19, Matthew 21: 18-22,

John 1: 1-3, John 1:14, John 10: 35-36, 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18,

Today, I, together with the Lord, will speak to you about ‘Prayer, the Word, and Thanksgiving.’

No matter how much one may buy food ingredients from the market, one has to cook it superbly in order for the meal to be delicious. Likewise, even if I offer spiritual prayers and thus receive the Word, I have to cook it well with wisdom and knowledge, spiritually and physically, before I deliver it in order for all of you to eat the spiritual meal deliciously, become healthy and strong both in the body and spirit, become moved, and take action.

It’s all about how to cook and prepare food; it’s all about how to cook and prepare the Word. Even if I receive the ingredients of the Word from Jesus, if I don’t cook it with the Lord, the Word will be tasteless and unappetizing. We need Jesus to give us the Word and to cook it for us.

First, I will speak about ‘Prayer and the Word.’

The Lord said, “I will give if you ask.” Why do you think He will give it to you? Because you yourself pray and ask for what is yours, God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus will not delay but will give it to you since it is proper. If you asked with the motive to make someone else’s belongings yours, it would be difficult to receive. But since you ask for what is yours for your own sake, you will receive. It is ultimately you yourself that needs to ask and obtain what is yours; therefore God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus will give it to you when you ask for it.

People usually think that the Lord will give things to them unconditionally if they pray. So they just think about gaining something without fulfilling the responsibilities of their missions. Also, they feel neglected and left out when it is not given to them even though it was not given to them, in fact, because it was not the time yet.

Rather than just praying deeply by yourself, praying as you converse with the Lord is a more substantial prayer. ‘Prayer is conversation’. Prayer is similar to the act of love between a man and a woman, so we need to pray like we are conversing with the Lord. Prayer is love.

Only when you pray will you receive chi (energy). Only when you receive the Word will you receive chi. Chi is energy. If there is a problem that worries you or if you are concerned, all your chi leaves you. But when a matter you’ve been worried about is solved, you receive chi. Chi is strength. We receive chi from the one we love. We receive chi if we do things according to the Lord’s Will while we run and dash, loving the Lord. The chi of love is very powerful. However, if a person hates someone, the person who hates will be drained of chi and the person being hated will be drained of chi as well. Chi is energy.

The ‘Chi of prayer’ and the ‘chi of the Word’ are truly great power. That is why the Lord said, “If you have faith and pray, you will get chi that can move mountains. Therefore, you can do miraculous things that are like moving mountains.”

Now, I will speak about ‘thanksgiving.’

We can receive energy when we thank God. What kinds of thanksgiving should we offer Him? Even though you are dwelling in one spot on the globe, using only one hundred-trillionth of the face of the Earth, I hope you will thank God not just for what you use but for the entire Universe and the Earth. Besides the space you are directly using, you should be thankful for the entire Universe and the Earth as if you were using all of them by yourself, even though your hands and feet may not touch all of them for the rest of your life.

It would have been impossible for God to create tiny spaces that each person would use. If He had, they would have been blown away by the force of gravity and turned into dust. It is like parents that cannot make only rooms for their children. First a house has to be built for the rooms to be made also. For this reason, I’m saying that you shouldn’t thank your parents just for your room but you should be thankful and feel gratified for the entire house, even if you do not use other spaces in the house. In the same way, we should give thanks and glory to God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus.

When you love and give thanks to God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus, you receive energy. You receive power and strength. Those who say that they don’t have strength are not receiving it because they don’t know about the sources of power, even though there are many places from which they can receive energy and power.

Today, I have given you abundant Word by cooking and preparing the entire message together with the Lord. Let me bid you farewell together with the Lord, blessing that you will receive chi and be energized by today’s message to jump high and fly upward.

Wed Msg: Prepare the Lamplight of Love Perfectly

February 9, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 8th 2012 Wednesday Message Summary

Scriptures: Matthew 25:1-13
For two thousand years, Jesus spoke using parables with such a burning heart and anxiety, telling people to equip themselves with what they needed, and to receive the Lord when He comes back. Imagine if you were in His position. He is coming after having waited for two thousand years. On top of that, He is coming to take the ones whom He died for and who He has continued to manage and love. But when the people who are supposed to receive Him fail to receive Him because they didn’t do what they could have easily done as preparation, how heartbroken and angry He would be. Think about it.

Jesus spoke about the day of the Advent using a parable. He said that ten virgins prepared and waited to receive the bridegroom, but only five of them received the bridegroom because they were wise and were equipped with what they needed to be equipped with, while the remaining five failed to receive the bridegroom because they were foolish and were not equipped.

All ten virgins were preparing to receive the bridegroom. But because they didn’t know whether the bridegroom would come during the day or the night, they prepared the ‘lamp’ and prepared everything else. When night fell, they waited for the bridegroom while suppressing their sleep by pinching their thighs.
Then one day, during the night, the bridegroom came and there was a shout from outside, “Look! Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!” All ten of the virgins who were waiting for the bridegroom lit their lamps. But the lamps of five of the virgins did not light up. It turned out that they hadn’t prepared the ‘oil.’ They had only prepared the ‘lamp.’

The five foolish virgins became very flustered. They asked their fellow virgins next to them to lend them some oil. In response, the five wise virgins said, “There is not enough even for us to use. If you need oil, go to the market and buy some.” At a loss, the five foolish virgins who couldn’t light their lamps because they didn’t have oil went to buy oil. The five wise virgins who had prepared oil and lit their lamps received the bridegroom, and went into the room.

A little while later, the five foolish virgins, who went to the market, bought the oil, and came back with their lamps lit, said to the bridegroom, “We are here! We’re sorry for being late. Please open the door!” At this, the bridegroom said, “I do not know you. Don’t ruin the atmosphere. Don’t knock,” and he didn’t open the door.

For lamps, the lamplight is the essence. Lamplight, that is oil. Why would they have prepared the lamp but not the oil? Everyone, put yourselves in their position and think about it. It was because they were ignorant and foolish. It’s not because they didn’t have money to buy oil that they didn’t prepare oil. They had money, so they bought oil later on.

We can view oil as various things, but we should view it first and foremost as ‘love.’ I want all of you to examine if your love for the Lord is perfect. I want you to check if you are living loving the Lord absolutely. If you don’t love the Lord absolutely, you are someone who has prepared only the ‘words,’ which is like the ‘lamp.’ A 100% love is perfect love.
You shouldn’t just confess that you love the Lord only in ‘words,’ but you should confess your love through ‘actions.’ Included in love is repenting of the sins of love that you have committed. Thus, the core is love and repentance. Those who have prepared with ‘love and repentance’ are people who have prepared the oil. The distinctive characteristics of a bride are ‘love, chastity and purity.’ Those who use their body however they want but say that their heart is pure are like people who don’t have oil but have only a lamp.

The core for those who are to receive the Lord’s Advent is ‘love.’ ‘Love’ is like oil for a lamp. You must give 100% of your love to the Lord before you are able to receive 100% of the Lord’s love that He gives to you. Those who give their love to the Lord and then give their love to people of the world again and again are crazy people. They are like people who are mentally ill. Until they recover from their illness, they should be hospitalized. It means that they should be on their best behavior.

Love is greater than truth. The truth stands on the basis of love. Because I loved the Lord, He taught me the truth. In the same way, we must love the Lord first before the Word of the time period comes into our heart properly, before our salvation is fulfilled, and before we are born again as the body of a bride and as a raptured spirit. Faith and hope are also determined according to the intensity of our love for the Lord.

Sun Msg: Be Fully Prepared. Quickly Be Equipped with What You Have Not Been Equipped With.

February 5, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 5th 2012 Sunday Message Summary & Audio

Scriptures: Matthew 5:48, Matthew 24:44-45, 1 Peter 5:6-8

It doesn’t cost you money to equip yourself and it doesn’t require you to have a good environment either. The things you must be equipped with are the things that you can simply do as long as you want to do it because you have built everyday habits.

I will tell you the rest of the things that you need to be lastly equipped with, how necessary it is to equip yourself, and how easy it is to equip yourself through parables.
- This is the first parable. You are like a broken car that is almost fully repaired except for a few parts. Until those parts are repaired the car cannot run, and it will actually cause the car’s problem to become worse. In this way, you must do these easy things in order for you to be equipped with the things that you should be equipped with and thus receive the Lord.
- The second parable. You can go outside only when you are fully dressed, but you have not put on a couple of items yet and you have not put on shoes yet. You must wear the remaining items of clothing and you must wear the shoes as well. We must quickly wear the clothes of action and put on the shoes of the gospel. In this way, you definitely have to complete these easy tasks in order to be fully equipped so that you will receive the Lord.
- The third parable. You have scrubbed dirt off your skin and have almost cleaned your entire body except for one leg. If you don’t wash that leg, you won’t look completely washed. If you are going to wash yourself, you should wash yourself completely. Do things completely.

In order to receive the Lord, we must resolve the following three issues, and equip ourselves.
-The first thing we need to resolve is ‘the issue of repentance.’ Dirt on our body is ‘sin.’ Scrubbing is ‘repentance.’ Just as scrubbing dirt off is easy, repentance is really easy. You just need to feel true remorse for your wrongs and pray. This is cleansing yourself every day.

-The second issue to resolve is ‘the issue of your love with the Lord.’ If you have loved the Lord 90% or 95%, you must fill it up to 100%. You need to raise your level of love. If you do not make your love 100% full, your love cannot be perfect, and therefore you won’t be able to receive the Lord who is perfect. If you give 5%, 10%, or 20% of your love to something else, you cannot succeed in love.

-The third thing that you must resolve in order to receive the Lord is to know ‘the Word of the time period’ correctly, to know ‘the man-of-mission of the time period’ properly, and to become united with the Lord through him. You have to be united with the Lord with thanksgiving, love, and truth. As for those who don’t have conviction about the history of the time period because they, like mentally-ill people, are shaken by the words of those who left and died, they have to completely fix their mind and mentality like fixing a broken car. You must be found to be clean even when the Lord looks into every corner of your heart with His eyes that are like flames.

These are the things that you must do. None of them are difficult. You just need to do them. You just need to put in the effort.

This year is a year when we must complete ourselves. It means that, in this year, you must perfect yourself by managing yourself perfectly. Only then will your spirit be able to receive the Lord and be raptured.

Wed Msg: The Opportunity is the Lord. A Person Like This Does Not Miss the Opportunity.

February 2, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

February 1st 2012 Wednesday Message Summary

Scriptures:
Song of Songs 6:4-13 (Key verse – 10)

In this story from the scriptures, the woman who was waiting for her beloved but missed the
opportunity refers to those who failed to receive the time of the Heavens. It means that those who
missed the time that the Lord gave to the time period are all like this woman.

In Song of Songs 6:4-13, it says that the man found another woman. He found a woman who
appeared like the dawn and who was as fair as the moon, bright as the sun, and majestic as the
stars in procession. The man said to that woman, “Come to me!” The woman’s heart, thoughts,
personality, and actions were as fast as light, she was as beautiful as the moon, and she was as
bold as a soldier. So the man received that woman.

In this way, if you miss the opportunity, you fail, and if you aggressively take action when the
opportunity comes and receive the opportunity, you succeed. The key is prayer and action. You
need to be ready to catch opportunity. You have to always think, ‘How will it come? Where will
it come from? Will it come from the east? Will it come from the west? Or will it come from the
south?’ and you should look in all directions.

Opportunity doesn’t come exactly as you expect. You have to be sure to keep in mind that
opportunity can come in a way that is different from what you imagined. Opportunity comes
according to time and seasons. So along with the opportunity, rain may come or snow may fall.
So in order to not miss the opportunity, you have to also make a determination. Opportunity
may come accompanied by suffering, tribulation, and persecution, or it may come when you are
having a hard time, feeling discouraged and wanting to give up.

When you wait for an opportunity, you need to wait for it as if you are waiting for your lover.
When you wait for a lover, you would endure even though you are sleepy or hungry, wouldn’t
you? Since your opportunity comes like your lover whom you love most, you must not be
distracted and look elsewhere. Also, you must not give up along the way but wait until the end.

An opportunity will surely come to the one who has been investing, putting in the effort, and
waiting to receive the opportunity. The opportunity will come having its heart set on the one who
prepares and waits like this as its lover. The opportunity that is destined for you will not go to
another person.

Even though it is difficult, hard, and painful to live putting the Lord’s words to action in the
present, now is the best, the most opportune time compared to the ages that are to come. As time
goes on, the generation will gradually become more treacherous. No matter what the people of
the former faith say, and no matter what all of mankind says, God and Jesus will carry out the
history of the physical rapture prior to the Lord’s Advent in spirit on earth through Providence.

Apostle Paul was imprisoned unjustly for the sake of the gospel. But he said to himself that the
period of imprisonment was the best opportunity to preach the Word to people. He held a pen

and kept writing letters to the church members, and thus managed them with earnest shimjeong.

‘Glory’ comes in splendor, but ‘the opportunity’ comes through a rainstorm like a thief, in
shabby appearance, to those who are unaware. You will be able to grab it if you are proactive
and run after the opportunity, but if you think, ponder, and move sluggishly while being self-
centered, you will not be able to seize the opportunity. Instead, you will get into a conflict of
ignorance. If opportunities came in a glorious and glamorous way, then practically everyone
would receive them in their life. But in reality, opportunities come in a way that seems like a
coincidence, they come at times through slanderers, or through evildoers as well.

My philosophy is ‘Substance more than name’ and ‘Excellence within simplicity.’ My charm
is that I go about looking like a beggar hiding the badge of power from Heaven and I examine
the entire world. I report to God and the Lord every detail, asking Them to take care of various
matters with justice. I have set the condition that the entire world could not have set before the
Lord and with that, I report to God and the Lord all the matters of the world in detail.

Sun Msg: Don’t Miss the Opportunity but Grab it.

January 30, 2012 in Words of Wisdom

January 29th 2012 Sunday Message Summary

Scriptures: Song of Songs 5:2-7

The sermon about ‘opportunity’ is such a delicious sermon; it is like food that perfectly suits your taste buds. I hope that you will perk up your ears, focus your mind, and listen attentively to what kind of words the Lord speaks through me.

From today’s scriptures, the woman who was fully adorned and waiting for her beloved in her room refers to the virgin Israel as a nation, and the beloved man who came outside refers to the Savior Jesus at His First Coming. For four thousand years, the Jewish religious people believed in God, prepared themselves, and waited for the Messiah as if a woman waited for her bridegroom, her lover, someone whom she loved and desired most. But when God came to earth through the body of Jesus, according to the promise in the Bible, some of them just thought, ‘Someone has come,’ and others couldn’t recognize Him at all. Jesus came as the beloved one and knocked on the door of the time period with ‘the Word,’ but they didn’t open the door.

Because they moved slowly, thought according to their own perspectives, disbelieved, even slandered, and failed to act like lightning in receiving the owner of the time period, Jesus ultimately left them. In the end, Israel was invaded by her neighboring countries, and she was taken forcibly by Rome for four hundred years, just like the virgin who, when wandering around looking for her beloved, was attacked by the watchmen of the city. Israel was placed in a pitiful and regretful position.

Glory comes brilliantly but opportunities come secretly. Opportunities are not glamorous. Sometimes, they come quietly like a whisper. Sometimes, they come in the midst of harsh wind and rain. At times, they come when the snow blizzards of tribulation whirl. Even in the midst of tribulation, persecution, and suffering, opportunities come when ‘the time’ arrives. Opportunities come and make the people who are waiting for it realize clearly enough that it has come.

Most people lose the opportunity, and it is only afterwards that they realize and chase after that opportunity. When the opportunity comes, you must throw away your own mentality, your arrogance, and your own thoughts, and you must aggressively and diligently take action like lightning. Then, you will be able to take hold of the opportunity.

People wait so eagerly for an opportunity and then when it actually comes, they miss it, not realizing that it was an opportunity. And then only after missing that opportunity do they wail, beating the ground to the point that it shakes the whole Earth. It was my experiences that some opportunities came unexpectedly from the north when I had been waiting for them to come from the east. Also, there were times where I had waited for an opportunity for many years, or even decades, but when the opportunity finally came, it came in a flash and only remained for a few seconds, while other opportunities remained obtainable for a few weeks before they disappeared.

You must not miss the opportunities. If you miss the opportunities, you will become a mudfish, but if you seize the opportunities, you will become a dragon and soar into the sky. This year is the year of the black dragon. Everyone should become a dragon and become people that fly into the sky. By loving the Lord, you must rapture so that your ‘body’ will live on earth, soaring and flying high in the sky, and your ‘spirit’ will fly into the embrace of the Lord. And when the Lord comes, you must receive Him like lightning and rapture.
