January 31^st 2010 Sunday Message Summary

Scriptures:?Matthew 6:6-7

The Lord says, “I urge everyone to pray diligently.? It will affect your destiny, your family’s destiny, your nation’s destiny, and Providence’s destiny.”? Destinies unfold due to prayer. But even though we pray, we must understand how to pray prayers that will move God’s heart.

1.? How do we pray?

-A-Make your bodies mind and attitude proper.? How you ask and pray for things makes a difference just like it makes a difference the way you ask and talk to people around you.

-B-Pray with absolute faith.? Matthew 21:22.? You will receive whatever you pray for, with faith.

-C-Repent first.? Pray as a righteous person. We must be clean before we go before God.

-D-Satan interferes when you repent, so you must know this.

-E-Pray in your room.? You must tightly close the door of your hearts and pray deeply in the room of your heart.? Close your heart to all other distractions.

2.? If you pray, prayers are answered at the appropriate time.

God takes all of our prayers and answers them at the appropriate time.? God answers our prayers depending on the content of our prayers.? God waits to answer our prayers sometimes so that he can give us something even better.

3.? Pray every day, talk with Jesus through prayer.

Don’t abolish prayers.? Prayer is daily sacrifice.? Whatever the circumstance, do not stop praying.

4.? Pray every day. Prayer saves your spirit, soul, mind, and body.

Just like you wash every day, eat every day, etc.? You must pray every day dozens of times a day.? The things we do every day we do without anyone prompting us to do them, but why don’t we do things every day for the sake of our eternal lives.

5.? You must control your mind/heart with prayer.

You must control your hearts with prayer and cut out the distracting and improper thoughts with prayer.? The mind is like water contained in a bowl of your bodies.? It goes back and forth and tips and pours in the direction of what your eyes see, your ears hear, and your heart feels.

6.? Pray today and take action today.

People think that even though they can’t do things now, they think in the future they will get it done or get out of the situation.? We must get things done today.

7.? Pour your heart out sincerely and pray with a focused mind.

Pray pouring out your heart sincerely, do it with a focused mind, and don’t babble.

8.? Pray sincerely for yourselves.

Prayer should not be done out of habit.? Depending on how sincere you are in conversation, the person will help you and be moved.? In this way, we must pray sincerely to Jesus.

9.? Why we must pray.

-Pray then you will get out of hell.? People who pray will get out of hell.

-Pray then you will become alert.

-Pray then miracles will happen.

-Pray then you will control your heart and you will not sin.

-Pray then you will find the right way. In other words, you will find Jesus.

-Pray then you will not waste your time in life.

-Pray then you will not be dragged around by the devil.? You will hold Jesus’ hand.

-Pray to defeat hardships and tribulations.

-Pray then your spirits and bodies will become strong and healthy.

-Pray then you will receive the Holy Spirit’s fire, you will also receive God’s spirit.

-Pray then you will receive wisdom and live wisely in this world.

-Pray then you will receive power to preach the word.? Those listening will receive grace too.

-Pray then you will escape death and you will live.

-Pray then your spirits & bodies will leave the domain of death and live in the domain of life.

-Pray then both in the present and the future, you will defeat tribulations and injustice.

-Pray then you will escape God’s judgment.

-Pray then your mind will become stronger.

-Pray then Jesus who hangs on the cross because of you, will come down and help and love you.

-Pray then even those who are born with bad luck will prosper in everything.

-Pray then God will judge those who are wicked and they won’t be able to do as they wish.

-Pray then you will be harmonious with your brothers and your words and actions will change.

-Pray then you will think right thoughts, discern what shouldn’t be done, and you won’t do them.

-Pray then your lives will not be tedious and instead you will live joyfully.

-Pray then you will become as brave as tigers.

-Pray that you will do and make impossible things happen.

-Pray then you will be able to overcome the tribulations of the last days.

-Pray then you will see, hear and do things properly.

10.? Time spent praying is time you and the Lord spend loving, therefore, pray deeply.

You must pray then God’s heart will be moved.? Prayer is loving conversations between you and the Lord.? It is conversation about life.? If you pray with love, then you will meet Jesus with love.

11.? Words of request.

If you repent, you will be forgiven and only do well in the future.? You must pray prayers of repentance and never do those sins again.

Key Point ? You must love prayer.? If you fall in love with prayer, you will find it easy to go into prayer.? You must love to pray.? No matter what you do, if you like it and love it, you will do it without caring about the suffering.? If you love prayer, you will do it.

Jesus says, “Prayer is me.? The more you pray, the more I embrace you and love you as my bride.? Tell everyone that prayer is me and I will treat them as my brides if they pray.”
