January 24th 2010 Sunday Message Summary

Scriptures: 1st Peter 5:7-9, 2nd Samuel 8:1-14

If you believe and put to action the Word that the Lord speaks, all worries, concerns and anxieties disappear from your mind. Your worries will disappear if you open your door and promptly receive the Word of the Lord, because it contains the answers to your questions. Amen.

A person who keeps their love and faith in the Lord intact, are people who have become a bride of the Lord. A person who hears the word and puts it to action saves themselves and saves Jesus from the cross he bears and gives him freedom and joy. These are the ones who love the Lord.

There are two types of action. For the mind, it is deemed action to hear the word of the Lord and have absolute faith. For the body, it is acknowledged as action to do things agreeing with the mind in reality. Those who break their promises to the Lord fail to receive the Lord into their minds. Those who disobey the word must repent and make satan depart. They must repent in order to soothe the Lord and have him return to their hearts.

People have all kinds of worries and they think if only they didn’t have that worry, it would be heaven on earth. So whether you live in a palace or an ordinary place, a concern can suddenly turn your mind into hell. Yet even if you reside in a corner of a room, as long as you don’t have worries, your mind is at peace and you’ll be able to rest in peace and your life will be like heaven. But people live in anxieties, worries, and concerns. The Lord always comforts and tells us to be at ease, don’t be afraid, don’t be anxious, etc. The Lord says that if we love him, we must cast our anxieties on him and for us not to worry.

The Lord says “I understand your pain and anxiety because when I was in the world, I went through greater suffering than what you are going through now. I’m not just saying this to console you. Didn’t I heal the sick and resolve the problems of those who were weighed down by the agony of their lives? Didn’t I rescue them at the moment of death? Some of them gave up hope and were sorrowful because they could not avoid death. I resolved their cases, however, by receiving their spirits into the kingdom of heaven, didn’t I?”

If you leave everything to the Lord, he makes things happen in a much better way than in the way you worry and fear about. Jesus always makes it better. Instead of driving your life on your own and worrying about it, quickly entrust your lives to the Lord. The Lord is an almighty God.

Even now, the Lord draws close to those who especially seek him. He speaks to those who confide in him. He listens to what each person tells him. We must not worry. The Lord says, “Don’t worry. Leave it to Me. If you are worried, you can’t do the work I entrusted to you. Isn’t worry something the gentiles who don’t believe in Me do? They worry because they have no one to help, but as for you, don’t you have Me? For you, I bore the cross and even died for you. If I have loved you to that point, wouldn’t I help you with the things that you are worried about?” Amen.

When the Lord resolves the issues that have distressed you, don’t just say thank you with your lips, but make a determination to work for the Lord on a greater scale. The Lord tells us that he wants to take care of our worries and pains, but he is scared that we will simply turn around on him and live how we want once those worries are gone. Therefore, when having a problem, make a promise and determination and let the Lord know that if these problems get taken care of, you will live your life for him like this.

Wherever we go, the Lord runs after us and helps us until the end. If your problem has been resolved by God, the Lord, or P. Joshua, definitely keep the promises you made to have those problems resolved. The fulfillment of your promises is the act of repenting and resolving your sins. When it comes to promises, you have to keep the promises to even human beings in order for you to be approved by them, how much more we must keep our promises to the Lord.

King David had a lot of worries for leading Israel. He had to worry about national affairs, politics, and issues about the people. The biggest worry he had was that someone would invade them. David was always at war with the neighboring nations. However, as we read through the scriptures today, God gave David victory wherever he went. The reason why they always triumphed was because King David relied only on God. He left all his worries to God and absolutely obeyed God’s instructions. God said that David was a man after his own heart.

David was a hero of the mind. He served God like a king who was always next to him. He served God and relied on him unconditionally. The spirit of God was with David, appeared through his mind, and had him take action in the body. David confessed that God alone was his rock, his refuge, and his savior. 2Samuel 22:3.

The Word of the Lord: Whether mountains crumble and fall flat, whether the world turns upside down, whether the bottom of the ocean shoots upward and its top plunges downward, whether people are greatly alarmed, do not worry. Only rely on Me and follow Me. Don’t let your heart waver, but only remain faithful, doing the work I gave you. If you do so, I will deal with you and love your life just as I love My own life. I did so in the past, I am doing so now, and I will do so in the future too.

To human beings, the mind is a flame. The mind is a sword. If the flame dies down, it won’t work; if a sword gets rusty, it won’t work. Always use [your] mind to keep it shiny and sharp. Be strong and be bold! Keep your mind like flashing light, and like a sharp blade. Keep heeding My Word and live a strong life.

You can enter the world of the spirit through the world of the mind. You can see if you focus your mind with all your heart, will and life. You can feel what you have done. You can hear My Word. You will see Me. Therefore, you will be able to lead and control your body more than enough. All of you have the mind. Can’t you overcome the world as I did, even though you are using that big weapon?

Do not worry. I will not repeat this long message. The most important and essential thing is that you love Me.
