Wed Msg: Christmas of Love. Love My Son.
December 25, 2009 in Words of Wisdom
December 23rd 2009 Wednesday Message Summary
Scriptures: Matthew 2:9-11
Why did God send Jesus? God sent Jesus to save people from going on the path to hell. We live in this world of sin and death, and God’s purpose was to save us and make us go to heaven.
In the Old Testament, God told people through the prophets that he would send a savior to save everyone. As promised, God sent his son. God, who is the origin of love, showed his love through Jesus who was sent to the world.
Jesus gave God’s love as well as his own love to all of mankind. People who receive that love receive salvation. Those who believe Jesus and believe him to be the Messiah sent by God, obey his words, love Jesus, and live according to his words, will receive salvation.
Ultimately, Jesus fulfilled God’s purpose of creation which was to save mankind. Jesus made history in Israel with his disciples for 3 years. After Jesus’ resurrection, he did the same thing, but through his spirit. With that spirit, he has led Providence history even to this day.
However, we fail to live united with the Lord. We didn’t know properly and we didn’t live properly because we didn’t open our spiritual eyes and hearts. We fell short because of our physical human nature. We did not discover the Lord properly. If people live spiritual lives in which they are united with the Lord, then they will clearly know that the Lord is living with them and making salvation history happen each and every day of their lives.
Despite all the persecution Jesus received, he still made the history of salvation that God and Jesus wanted to by treating them with love. Until the end, the Lord loved everyone, even those who tried to kill him. Jesus treated his enemies with love, and eventually he bore the cross and died for even those who were his enemies. This is called the ‘saving love.’ By doing this, Jesus was able to make history throughout the world.
If people in this time period knew that the gospel of the Lord is being preached through our teacher, then this would have been a history of glory. However, people rejected, persecuted, and opposed us and as a result, there has been so much suffering in Providence. Despite that, we have pushed forward and bore the cross and loved. We suffer the pain and sufferings just as Jesus did too.
Jesus says, “You may be people who are persecuted for my gospel, but don’t persecute. People who are persecuted are blessed.”
Human beings do things only looking at the present. They do things that absolutely should not be done without taking the future into consideration. In Jesus’ time too, they did things without knowing the future. They did wicked things according to their wicked hearts.
At the time of Jesus’ birth, 3 wise men came. When they got to Jesus, they bowed down, worshipped Jesus, and celebrated by giving him gold, myrrh, and frankincense. In this time period, we must do the same. We must give the most valuable things to Jesus. The Lord gave each of us his love and did not hold back.
We must celebrate a Christmas of love in which we go along with him giving him everything. We must give the Lord perfect love. If we truly love, we give material gifts and we give everything we possess.
Jesus came with love, therefore we must treat him with love, and then peace will come to our hearts, our families, our nations, and our world. However, the lives of those who hated Jesus and were murderous towards him experienced hell.
Only the love that you give to the Lord will bear fruit and be eternal. If the Lord gives you love, you must accept, receive that love, and bear fruit. The Lord loves everyone in the world. There are people who receive the love and those who reject the love and love the things of the world. Salvation can only come with receiving the love of the Lord and love the Lord in the same way.
Jesus loves us so much and we turn out well because of that love. Even if we don’t recognize it, we still benefit from that love. Jesus loves us and helps us all the time, however we don’t even know. If people only receive Jesus’ love and don’t return it back, then they go only as far as feeling it in the world. But those who return the love will not only feel it here in this world, but also in the eternal world.
(The Lord’s words)
You must love with all your heart, will, and life. Then perfect love will spring up in your hearts and also in your actions. Your entire destiny is determined according to how much you love me.
The key point of the entire bible from the Old to the New Testaments is “love.” Listen to this without thinking about physical love. You must achieve love between you and me. Achieve a love that is perfect on the inside. You must love me. Then I will restore you. You must love each other truly. Then everyone will follow. You must provide true love till the end in the same way I love you.
Do you know just how much I love all of you? I truly love all of you. I am madly in love with you. Check yourselves and see if you are receiving/accepting my love that is like this. If you love me madly too, you will finally know.
When people are trying to fulfill a certain difficult purpose, they must do it being crazy about it, being completely immersed in it. To go “Crazy” means to “focus, to do the work being completely immersed in it with all one’s heart, will, and life and with all one’s mind and soul.” I’m not talking about being crazy like a person whose mind is crazy.
We must love the Lord madly. ” The Christmas gift we will give to the Lord is, “Knowing and realizing God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord’s shimjung.” The greatest gift you can give to God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord is interacting with them with knowledge of their shimjung. Love too must be done with knowledge of shimjung.
