December 16th 2009 Wednesday Message Summary

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 2:8-16, John 14:26

Human beings truly live not knowing. We must go before the Lord and admit that we are truly blind, and then the Lord will open up our eyes. Even if a huge disaster happens soon, does anyone really know that it’s going to happen? Human beings don’t know about harm coming and even about death coming.

If people knew, would they be doing the things that they are doing? Only God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus know; our trust then should lie with them. We must not live a life of ignorance. As much as we don’t know, is as much as we don’t know about God. The knowledge of God allows us to have true knowledge of the world.

If you pray, destinies are changed; this is the power of prayer. Prayer is so amazingly powerful that it could even change your destinies and save your life and those around you. If you pray, God will save you on the day of death. If you keep living and praying for yourself, for your family, and for your nation, you will be saved. Do you know just how powerful prayer is?

Just as prayers you pray for yourself come true, the prayers you pray for your family and your nation will also come true if you pray earnestly. It is because it is God’s law. You must pray in the name of the Lord.

God doesn’t answer your prayers because you are praying weak prayers. You must not pray in a superficial way. Make miracles happen at the predawn hours that others can’t make happen. Push yourself and do it. Do it every single day and see what happens. God will answer your prayers because there are laws that God established.

Whatever you do without asking the Lord is considered sin. Even if it delays things, you must ask the Lord first. Even if a person is facing death in the future, the Lord doesn’t reveal it, he simply says “do,” or “don’t,” and it’s up to our own decision. We must pray.
You must live knowing at least the fact that you must pray. If you pray, you will sense accidents, hardships, dangers and disasters ahead of you, etc. This comes with prayer and it is heightened when you pray. If you pray deeply, you will sense the things that will happen in the future. If you pray for what’s inside a person’s heart, you will also understand them better.

People do the things they do because when they see those things with their eyes they think those are things that must be done. And when you listen to what people say, it makes you think that most are things that should be done. When they are examined, however, most things are things that don’t need to be done. Therefore, don’t think about things by yourself and do them based on just your thinking.

And when people ask you to do something, you think they are things that need to be done. When you hear people say, “Let’s make money,” or “Let’s do business,” or when they are being convinced about something, they join them thinking they are all things that should be done. People do things because they just can’t refuse the environment, position, or circumstances. But if you ask me or examine them closely on your own, you’ll see that most of them are things that don’t need to be done. In fact, people ended up losing even more or suffering because they did things that shouldn’t have been done.

Think about the things you did in the past. Some people spend all their lives doing things that shouldn’t have been done and finally regret in the end. Some people regret at the end of their lives. Some people finally realized after death that the reason they are suffering is because they did things that shouldn’t have been done. There are many people who live poor because they did things without knowing and suffered losses as a result, and many live wealthy because they did things knowing.
If the Lord tells you not to do something, you must not do it. Even if everything looks perfect, if the Lord tells you something, you must obey. When there is no voice or feeling from the Lord, he will speak through nature. You must clearly investigate. Keep investigating and asking. Even if someone says things are fine, you need to ask other people. You must keep checking and investigate even if it takes a while. After you do all of this, then you can take action.

If you ask the Lord sincerely, he will reveal things to you. Even if you get a slight feeling, you must do it or not do it. Don’t take action after examining it just once. You must examine it many times putting your life on the line.

You must take action with knowledge. You must ask the Lord. “Telling the Lord is what it means to know and take action.”
