Luke 2: 9-14
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
Scriptures: Luke 2:9-14
Hallelujah! Let’s celebrate the birth of the Lord! We give sincere thanks to God who has sent his beloved son to the earth in order to save us. Peace be with you.
Why is this Christmas called the Christmas of love?
The purpose of God creating the world was to fulfill the history of love. His Will was ‘the love of God;’ to create a world of love where people love each other because of the love of God. In this way, people would perfect themselves through that kind of love.
If you really want to fulfill the history of God, you must live on earth obeying the words of God. You fulfill the history of God through obedience. The words that God gives are ultimately words of love, so obeying that word is fulfilling love.
Unfortunately, history was shattered. Adam and Eve ended up failing to fulfill God’s love and instead loved each other and the world. People even now love whoever they want and do whatever they want. However, God still loved and never gave up on them. As a result, God sent his son to the world to teach the world how to truly love and honor the father.
God sent Jesus who only loved God with all his heart, will, and life. He showed us how to truly love God. Jesus also taught us how to love each other in the right way. Jesus lived his life serving and honoring God with delight. Even though the world hated him and persecuted him, he still loved them and showed the example of what loving really is.
Jesus saved the world through love. The Will of God’s purpose was to fulfill love. Everything was done because of love. Jesus even loved people who were steeped in sin, because of love. However the love has to be returned in order for the love to be complete. In return people have to believe in Jesus and return that love to him.
The Lord loved us to the point where we could love the Lord and God as brides. If people are able to love Jesus as much as Jesus loves them, then people are able to advance to the level of brides. Jesus helped us to love with action.
When we commit sins, we must immediately repent. Repent and live a clean and pure life. We must have clean and pure minds. You must repent quickly and completely right when you sin. When we love God with all our mind, Will, and life, then history is completed. The birth of Jesus is the day of love; it is a day of salvation for the entire world.
Following the Lord intimately is hard, but it’s joyful. Following closely means to obey his words completely. We must obey his words and also put them to action. We must completely unite ourselves in shimjung with the Lord.
We must not only love the Lord with words. If we do, that is superficial love and we are unable to unite as one with the Lord. If we truly love the Lord, we would change and fix our habits and completely let go of the things of the world and only cling on to him.
We must be crazy for the Lord. When we become crazy for the Lord, it doesn’t mean to be insane, it means to be completely focused on the Lord and not care about anything around us.
If you have pure gold with you, you must not mix it with any other material. You keep it in a firm grip and you don’t let anyone touch it or obtain it. Those who don’t make themselves like pure gold will never be treated as wholesome people.
We must make this Christmas of Love a Christmas in which we love the Lord wholesomely. Without holding back, the Lord loves us completely and wholesomely. Just receiving his love is not enough; we have to return that love back to him.
The Lord spoke through revelation-receivers, “I love you so dearly, but you who declare to be My brides only hold on to the title of bride and take pride in it, but you don’t care for Me as much as I love you nor are you interested in Me in your daily lives. There is a time when I Jesus show you love. There is a time when I am anxious. I am anxious today because now is the time when I love you the most. However, if [anyone] doesn’t understand this now and looks for Me after I have left, they will not find Me. They won’t find Me because they didn’t unlock their doors while I was knocking and waiting throughout the night, drenched with dew, like Song of Songs chapter five says. Certain people who call themselves My brides of the time don’t unbolt for me their hearts of love even though I wait for one, two, or six months, or one or three years. Many will wander around, looking for Me only after I have gone. While looking around for Me, they will be grabbed and dragged by Satan.”
God so loved the entirety of human kind that he sent his only son to save the world. Do we know how earnestly the Lord loves us? He went beyond brotherly love and loves us like lovers. The condition for us to be the brides is that we must be one with Jesus. We must not love Jesus rashly and then turn away later. We must love with all of our heart, will, and lives. We must be attached to Jesus and love him. The Lord just simply loves us.
When we show our love to the Lord, do we show brotherly love or a lover’s love? This determines the outcome of you history of love. This year, make sure to celebrate Christmas like you never celebrated it before! Believe in this history!
