If You Are Inattentive and Lazy, You Will Fail

Scriptures: 1 Peter 5:7-9

If there are things you asked God for but haven’t gotten it yet, you must first think about whether you prayed prayers that were not right in God’s eyes. Second, you must wait because the right time hasn’t come yet. Third, if that prayer was not right, you must pray in a way that is right.

The kinds of prayers that come true well are prayers about repentance, prayers of cleansing oneself, prayers that drive out satan, prayers promising to live absolutely for God, and prayers promising to live as the Lord’s body. Prayers of forgiving your brothers, prayers expressing your love for your brothers in the Lord’s Will, prayers for evangelism, prayers prayed to make peace, and prayers for neighbors and nations. Prayers asking for a lot of money, prayers asking for fame and glory, and prayers asking to live soaring in the world are not right and He will not grant those easily. You must pray with knowledge.

The reason people don’t get things they should get is because of their laziness. The reason people lose the things they’ve gained is also because of their laziness. You must not be lazy and you must not be inattentive. Instead, you must work with diligence, hard work, and faithfulness.

If I were to tell you my attitude toward life at this present time, it would be that my expectation that other people will do things for me has disappeared 100%. I must do it myself. I must do every single thing. There is no one who can do this for me the work I must do. I must do it. If I don’t do it, there is no one else who can do it. I’m the one that must eat, I’m the one that must sleep, and I’m the one that must write.

You must clean yourself everyday and live new lives by repenting. People who live without repenting are like people who keep eating food out of the same dish without washing the dish.

The Lord said, “People do things knowing one thing but they do things without knowing other side, which is the second thing.” Animals know “one” thing which is, “I will die if I get caught in a trap.” But they don’t know the “second” thing which is, “If I bite the bait, I will get caught in the trap.” Animals are captured by taking advantage of that. People are better than animals. Therefore, you must know the second things.

People who gained things from asking the Lord must not think that they’ve gained everything. Instead, you must not be lazy but work hard so you can gain even more. You must be alert, don’t be inattentive, and must go forward to gain other things. You must always think about those times your hearts were aching and you went through suffering in order to get certain things and you must cherish the things you gained and use them more valuably. People lose even the things they gained because they are being lazy. That’s really sad. All the grace God gave you and the Spirit God poured out into each of you is God who personally came to you. Therefore, if you have gained them, you must never lose them. If you lose them, it is hard to find them again.
