I, Yahweh am the First and Last, Find Your First Love

July 22nd 2009 Wednesday Message

Scriptures: Revelations 21:6, Revelations 2:4-5

You must live making the Lord your first priority. I’m sure there are many times you do not make the Lord your first priority in the course of doing official work or personal work that are really urgent because you run out of time while doing that. However, if you do that, even if you’re living doing official things, you become physical. That is why you must do the Lord’s work first regardless of reason. Even if it is official work, you must postpone that and put the Lord first. Prayer must be the first priority. You must firmly grab the predawn hours and must not let it go. In Providence all history happens in the predawn hours.

The essence of the message today which is “God is the first and the last” means “God treats us the same way from the first to the last without changing.” When we first began our life of faith God treated us with gladness, loved us, and worked with us with truth, joy, and various miracles. He doesn’t change and He treats us the same way even now.

The purpose is not getting fulfilled because God and the Lord have faith in us but we don’t have absolute faith in them. We must take action having absolute faith. Then miracles will happen and impossible things happen.

How did you come to church at first and how did you come to Providence at first? You came to church because you liked the word and liked Pastor Joshua’s teachings. If you didn’t like it, you wouldn’t have followed. You planted your roots of faith because you liked the word and liked God and the Lord. If you don’t do as you did at first there is no hope.

If you look at people who receive revelations from the Lord, there are revelations received by them that are universal. They say, “Jesus is crying. He is sad.” They see Jesus crying in sorrow through feelings, realizations or even by sight. I’m sure there are many who doubt wondering, “Why does the great Jesus who is the King of Kings show His tears like that and cry?” I received a message from the Lord about this. So listen.

I asked the Lord, “Lord, do people feel that way and receive revelations about that because they are psychologically impacted by what they read in Sister Anna’s book which says the Lord is sad?” The Lord said, “Think about when people cry.”

The Lord says He cries when people He bought with love by giving His own body on the cross will get dragged off to death and die. He says He cries when He sees people happily living in the domain of death and destruction and suffering all kinds of pain and suffering. When He sees people He loves so much not recognize His love and do what they do, He feels sorry for them. He says all He can do is cry when He loves them so desperately and is waiting for them so desperately but they don’t understand His heart. He says tears just stream down His face no matter how hard He tried to fight it.

In today’s message I told you that you must regain your first faith, first love, first belief, and do diligently like you did at first in order to be restored. God is the first and the last. He treats you the way He did at first. Don’t doubt that and don’t question that.

We must make it so that God and the Lord will look for us with smiling. We must not make them look for us with tears, sadness, or worries.
