June 21st 2009 Sunday Message

Scriptures: Acts 2:16-21

If people don’t hear the word at the right time, it is finished. The word must be delivered properly. The message must be heard well and at the right time. These are the words of life.

People are capable of getting things done if they put their lives on the line and if they have a sense of mission. People don’t get things done because they don’t put their all into it. If you received a mission, you should be faithful to that mission. If you become faithful, you can do it. God will be with you. If you don’t do it, it won’t get done.
At this time, because we are all preparing for the Lord’s coming, the Lord is checking every single person to see if they are qualified for doing the work the Lord wants them to do. Now is time when everything must be made clean. You must repent everything away at this time. If you don’t throw them out now, we don’t know when there will be another chance.
Our thoughts and God’s thoughts are so different. We think that if the Lord comes in 1 year, 3 years, or 10 years it is a big difference. However, think about it this way. If a person is asleep for 1 hour, 3 hour, or 10 hours, the time all seems like an instant. In this way, if the time is 3 years, 7 years, or 10 years, your days will pass instantly like a dream. So whatever time you have left in the future, it’s all the same. Therefore we must pray quickly, repent quickly, evangelize quickly, become one with the Lord quickly. Do it quickly.
Even if you can’t do anything else in the world, you must at least be ready to meet Jesus and go to heaven. You must at least be saved.

You cannot be truly happy if you are simply walking on a path that is temporary. You must walk on the eternal path in order to be truly considered to be happy. Just like a one night stand. Can you say that one night of love is love? That is not true love. Is it considered love if you stop hating your brother after hearing the sermon, but then you hate again later? Such people cannot be considered happy people when it comes to love. You must forgive and love forever, then you will have the eternal happiness of love.

When water is poured into an empty bowl the bowl is filled with water, right? When God’s Spirit is poured into the bowls of your hearts, God’s spirit comes to reside in the bowl of your heart. It doesn’t end at just “I received the Holy Spirit. I received fire. I received grace. I can speak in tongues. I can interpret tongues.” It doesn’t end with just receiving grace. Those spiritual things are happening because God’s spirit has come into your hearts.

When you love, joy comes. Hope comes. When you love, the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit come.
We must be born again through the Holy Spirit. Then first, we will stay away from sin and we will sin even less. Second, our faiths will come alive, our minds will come alive, and we will recognize the trap of sin and will not fall into it. Third, with wisdom and knowledge we will recognize the deceptions and temptations of satan and will control them. Fourth, we will not bring charges against people in the Lord.

If people ask for it and are ready, God will pour His Spirit out on people even if they are by themselves. You must sing/praise, pray and work hard at it. Testify about the grace you’ve received.

Words about God’s Judgment

Scriptures: Amos 3:7

There are people who wake up late and people who wake up early. Now everyone must wake up. People who don’t wake up even when they are woken up are dead people. Dead people must be brought back to life by praying. Miracles must happen in order to bring them back to life. People who love their brothers/sisters can wake them up.

In each time period God sent prophets and made them preach God’s words to wake up and raise people whose faiths have fallen asleep or died. Prophets have various different types of missions. God appoints prophets in different ways according to the times.

Words of prophets are like swords. Like doctors performing surgery, the prophets see things sharply and preach sharply. Prophets preach about the things that will happen in the future, the judgment God will bring in full detail.

Through the prophets God warns people and gives them a final chance. He always made people escape the disasters by giving them final chances to repent. You must know and be thankful that God always gives people final chances to live no matter how much they’ve sinned. God is a God of mercy and love. He is a God of justice.

If, when the prophets preached, everyone repents like Nineveh did, then God forgives them and stops the destruction that He was planning to bring. If people repent only partially, God does bring judgment but at times reduces the tribulation. This is true for individuals too. If people truly repent, God turns away from judgment and if they repent partially, God brings judgment partially. He sometimes reduces it.

From God’s point of view the sins of this time period have reached a point of saturation. That is why He prompted the prophets to preach about the corruption and judgment for a final time. At first He keeps the prophets hidden and makes them preach secretly. However, as time draws nearer and nearer He makes them preach to the entire world. This time period is the time near the Lord’s second coming. That is why He tells the world to “Repent.” Right now is time for the entire world to repent.

He will continue to pour His Spirit out on all the churches and make it so everyone will receive His Spirit. The repentance movement must happen continually and we must use all our strength to receive the Spirit of God fully. You must not slow down the rhythm. All the churches, all the leaders, and all the individuals must do it with all their heart, will, and life.

If you’re tired you should slow down but you must keep running. If you stop, it is hard to start running again because you will stop sweating and your muscles will pull. The same is true with the work of grace in our Providence.

God has been warning all the people of this world until now. Now there is not much time left to even warn them. We must quickly hear those words, repent of our sins, and pray for them.

When you hear what God says through the prophets you must be shocked and believe it. “A tragedy similar to the bus called the Earth falling off a cliff will happen. As long as you’re on the earth you will suffer too because you are on that bus. It will not matter only for those who raptured and have left the earth.”
