Exodus 19:3-6, Deuteronomy 7:18-21

This year, which was the year of prayer and word, we have endured a lot of twists and turns and have reached our destination which is the final Sunday. Hallelujah! Now that we have reached our destination I urge each person to think about and reflect on how God and the Lord helped us, what miracles they performed to get us here, and how they led us in the past days.

Even in Providence each person has different missions and traveled different paths. However, each of us came thus far by braving the storms in our own treacherous oceans and enduring different types of suffering. At this time I want each person to reflect on their past days. I’m sure a few big unforgettable events will stand out and come to mind.

“I will be with you in the future as I was with you in the past. So don’t forget the past but think about how you were helped.” That must be done. Then you will receive power and gain hope. This is the same message the Lord gives to each of you.

See, people need to become deep through acquiring lots of stories of pain and suffering. Then their will becomes deep, they receive love from God, and grow close. The stories made God have a deeper will toward you, stories made the bond and love become deeper, and the Lord was with Providence history even more because of those stories/reasons. The reason our hometowns are so unforgettable and close to us is because we have so many stories there. It is because we not only have stories of good things but because we acquired many stories of suffering and hardships as we grew up there.

What’s more, you must also realize the stories of how God and Jesus worked in your lives as well. Life is like that too. Places and locations must have lots of stories in order to have things to talk about and when people hear those stories, they receive a lot of grace. There is nothing God Wills that doesn’t have a story/reason behind it.

I too experienced many stories of twists and turns that brought tears to my eyes. Jesus too had lots of stories and tales. From the time he was a child there were stories he could not share and during the short 3 years he preached the gospel after the age of 30 there were stories as [deep] as rivers and [wide] as oceans. There were lots of big stories that happened. When we heard those Words we gained understanding of God’s will and realized God was with us in those ways too.

There was a time I was doing nothing more than staring blankly at the sky or the wall. Then I heard a vivid voice tell me, “Talk with me.” It was the Lord’s voice. Through that experience I found a way to converse with the Lord for the rest of my life and realized the Word more deeply in a way that gave me hope.

You must realize the stories that are untold through the stories that are told. Then you will realize the deeper story, understand the deep Will of God, and even understand his heart too.
