December 24th 2008 Christmas Message Summary
Title: Joyful Christmas
First, I pray that the Lord Christ’s peace be with you.
As promised through the prophets, God sent his beloved Son, Jesus the Savior, to the town of Bethlehem in Israel to save all of mankind. I give glory to God who sent us the messiah and also give glory to the Lord who brought peace to this world, gave joy and hope to our hearts, and saved us.
The word Christmas means Christ’s mass. “Christ” comes from the Greek word “Christos” and the word “maesse” comes from the Latin word “missa.” It means to hold service for Christ Jesus. I urge everyone to be joyful participants in the service. The more fundamental meaning is to receive the messiah and live according to His Word and His mentality. This must be a Christmas in which we are joyful always and in our everyday lives.
Christmas is to celebrate the mass. It is to give God our hearts, bodies, and spirits and also give Him thanksgiving and love. We must give ourselves to the Lord. Then the Lord will give to us as well. That is what will make this a joyful Christmas. Hallelujah~ Amen!

Title: Joyful Christmas
Scriptures: Luke 2:8-14, Matthew 2:1-15
God steadily fulfilled His will of the salvation history for 4000 years of the Old Testament centered on the Laws. Through the prophets He gave the message of the greatest hope and made a promise which was to send the messiah who will save them.
The time came and as promised, he sent the messiah to Bethlehem, a town of David undetected by anyone. And because no one detected it He sent angels and showed many signs and miracles. He informed the shepherds of the Bethlehem fields that a savior has been born to them. The angels also praised God and rejoiced.
“Realize that you must keep your faith strong no matter what your story and no matter what has happened. Make this a joyful Christmas to realize that and pledge once again.” The Lord is giving us this diamond-like Christmas message.
Even if you face dead-ends, you must make your faith absolutely strong. Then because of that condition of faith, God and the Lord will save you in any difficulties.
One proverb goes like this: “I like people who are sharp as a knife when taking action, hot like a fire, have faith as strong as rocks, flow endlessly like the river, take action without hesitation like the wind, runs like the unimpeded clouds in the sky, spout hot fiery messages from their lips like a volcano, has hearts as bright as the stars, don’t lose their light like the sun, are as bold as lions the kings of the jungle, are like soldiers ready to battle but have hearts as gentle as water, healthy like a camel in the desert and moves forward endlessly like the camel, and are cold but hot in their actions.”
This is a Joyful Christmas. Why is this Joyful Christmas? Only those who live that way know why it is joyful.
